Cliniques super smart serum

I wrote this review about five years ago & Custom repair is still my favorite serum!

I am completely obsessed with Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum. I actually look forward to applying it each day beacause I love how it glides onto my skin like velvet & leaves my face feeling silky smooth & fresh.

My skin is sensitive & I am constantly skeptical about using active products as they invariably irritate, so its always a bit of a gamble for me to try something new. When I went to the launch of this product I was intrigued to hear that Clinique had spent five years of trial & research to develop a serum that contained highly active ingredients that would also calm the skin… the result is the most powerful yet gentle product that Clinique have ever developed.

This one product does so much & its all the things women look for in a skin care. It targets dark spots & reduces their appearance, so its ideal to use if you suffer from pigmentation & sun damage. It also hits those fine lines & wrinkles while also managing to lift, firm & hydrate.

After a few weeks of using Custom-Repair Serum I have seen a vast improvement in my skin texture. I apply two pumps of serum onto my face every morning after a shower & I follow this with my favorite  Clinique CC Cream which offers hydration, colour & sunscreen (the ultimate perfect three in one!). If you have dry skin you can add moisturizer to this routine & some days I do this if I feel I need that bit extra. My skin feels nourished & much smoother, in fact I find that this serum feels a little like a primer in that it tends to ‘fill in’ the fine lines.
